Doctor Lawrence Frank Ireland (Laurie) Laurie passed away peacefully in the palliative care unit of Redcliffe Hospital Wednesday 26 th November 2025 aged 81 years.
Laurie leaves behind his loving wife Margaret, as well as his loved children Matthew, David and their partners, Lucinda & Bei.
Laurie, known to his three grandchildren , William, Isaac & Sienna as Grandad will be sorely missed. They adored him.
At this time, The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Support staff of Redcliffe Hospital Palliative care unit for the care and attention that helped to make his final days as happy and peaceful as possible Laurie’s family warmly invite all his relatives and friends to attend his celebration of life service that will be held at his graveside in the Samsonvale Cemetery Gold Scrub Lane, Samsonvale, Queensland 4520 – 11:00 am Wednesday, 3rd of December 2025.
