Eileen Elizabeth Cooke

Originally from Dunedin, New Zealand, and most recently of Durack, Eileen passed away peacefully at the age of 85 at the Mater Hospital on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Eileen is lovingly remembered by her children, Greg and Louise, and her cherished granddaughter, Isabella.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and support staff of the Mater Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion, which ensured Eileen’s final days were as comfortable and peaceful as possible.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Eileen, to be held at:

Mount Gravatt Crematorium Chapel
582 Mains Road Macgregor Queensland 4109 (Within the grounds of the Mt Gravatt Cemetery)
