Vera Gwendoline Scott
Late of Petrie. Vera passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday 3rd February 2026. At the time of her passing Vera was only 84 years of age.
Vera leaves behind her son, John to join her loving daughter Debra in heaven.
Vera- Gigi or Granny as she was better known also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Nicole, Daniel who will always remember her for that special bond that can only exist between a grandchild and grandmother. Vera also sadly leaves her great grandchild Leah who will always remember such a loving lady.
Vera’s family warmly invite all her relatives and friends to attend her celebration of life service that will be held Chapel of the Pinnaroo Crematorium 285 Graham Road Bridgeman Downs Queensland 4035 (Within the grounds of the Pinnaroo Cemetery) on Wednesday 18th February 2026 commencing at 11:00 am.
Vera’s wake will be held from 12pm in a private function room at Eaton’s Hill Hotel, food and drinks will be provided.
We encourage people to wear bright colours however, its not a must.
Vera’s favourite colour is purple.
