At Academy Funerals, we believe in choice and ensuring that families don’t spend more than they need to. As a result, we focus on keeping our overheads to a minimum and investing in the services and products that have proven important to the families we serve. Because of this, and because we operate as an independent family-owned funeral company, our fees and charges are often much less than the traditionally large and expensive funeral homes.

Because it is a requirement for funeral companies to maintain current pricing on their websites, we have compiled a list of the more popular funeral homes, their basic prices, and how they compare to the funeral fees offered by Academy Funerals.

This will never be a completely exhaustive list of either directors, costs or range of services; however, it is an extremely transparent way of providing a snapshot of comparison for you as other directors in Brisbane will be similar.

Within this list is a comparison including large corporate owned directors ‘InvoCare’ (White Lady/ George Hartnett/ Simplicity), large private owned directors (KM Smith/ Alex Gow), smaller independent family directors like ourselves (McCartney Funerals/ Anton Brown/ Compassionate), new IT based limited service company (Bare), and church owned (Holy Cross).
