Messages from Friends & Family

Thank you, Ashley, and the team at Academy funerals, for taking such loving, diplomatic care of the dear departed. I know you will do your best to give everybody the dignified send-off they deserve. To my dear longtime friend Angela Joan Dean, I will be with you in Spirit and watching everyone’s true colours shine through via the wonders of technology in the form of Live Streaming. How very appropriate that your farewell will be held on the 11th, exactly one year since your 1st born love, Terrence, departed this cruel world. I know he is overjoyed to have both of his favourite ladies, his mother, and his bride, now forever by his side. I tried my best to keep my promise to you, re your final wishes, but the powers that have ruled over your life, took over again and shut me out. No, I am not talking about your appointed Public Guardian, you know who I mean. The beautiful eulogy you asked me to write will not be read at your funeral, the clothes you picked are hanging back in my wardrobe and I will not be physically present as I am not welcome anymore. My usefulness has expired with your surviving family. I met your sister Karen (lol, you were right, she is aptly named) when I came to say goodbye to you in room 10. I know you could hear what was going on, even though you were in a peaceful coma. It was a surreal experience to witness her rising from the chair behind your bed, it was as if I was looking at the you, that I remembered from back in the day when we were solid friends. She is the spitting image; however, her heart lacked your inner beauty. I hope you enjoy your final shing ding, you will be proud of Joshua for finally stepping up as your carer. His first good choice was choosing Academy to take over the finer details. Thank you, my dear Angel Angela, for the lessons you have taught me, and the subtle warnings not to follow in some of your footsteps, wink, wink, nudge, nudge say no more! Let the judges, judge, and the haters, hate, isn’t that right mate? Enjoy Eternity, come visit whenever you want, give my love to everyone and finally, Rest in Peace, May God bless you. Signed with a broken heart, patched up with love, MoniqueAntoinette and your favourite stepson, Caleb xxx Reece Hamilton, Terrences key support worker also sends his love. xxx
