I don’t know Anna well, or do I? She’s such an open soul.
I met her a few years ago through the School of Philosophy, and have stayed in touch with irregular in-home group meetings, where we talk, eat and laugh – laughter was her thing.
In my nearly 60-years I do not think I’ve known anyone who personifies joie de vivre quite like Anna. She was equally open about her challenges and her joys, but never seemed to mope or dwell – cést la vie, much more than she’ll be right.
This news of her passing was so unexpected and moves so many of us – its not bloody fair, but I am confident that her bright, cheeky, honest and bubbly personality will ensure that the joy she brought will continue in our hearts and minds for many years to come.
Anna, it was a pleasure and an honour to know you. You inspire to me not to sweat the small stuff and to revel in every little bit of beauty continually surrounding us, despite the fact I’m English
