Originally from Piedimonte Etneo Italy, late of Chermside West.
Sam passed away peacefully Saturday 17th December 2016 aged just 94 years.
Sam has now re-joined the love of his life and soulmate Filippa who passed before him.
Sam also leaves behind his loving children Rosetta and Joseph and their spouses.
Sam (Nonno) will also be sadly missed by his adoring grandchildren Adrian, Elizabeth, Antonio, Adrian and Tiana and great grandchildren Olivia, Elana and Zoe Each of them have happy memories of him along with his constant teasing, tickles and loving advice.
At this time Sams family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff of Wheller Gardens Cooper House nursing care for the love, care and attention that they so freely gave to Sam to make his final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
Sams family and friends are warmly invited to attend his celebration of life service and Requiem Mass that will be held in the St Gerard Majella Catholic Church 146 Maundrell Terrace Chermside West. Sams service will be held on Thursday 29th December 2016 commencing at 10:00 Am.
After the mass those attending are requested to follow the hearse in cortege to the Nudgee Cemetery, 493 St Vincents Road, Nudgee where Sam will be placed to rest
