Originally from Tasmania, and late of Capalaba Queensland.
Shane passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family and friends in the Princess Alexandra Hospital Woolloongabba, after a short illness on Friday 6th January 2017. At the time of his passing he was just 52 years old.
Shane leaves behind his loving wife and soulmate Melissa and adoring children Len and Lily and Len’s partner Kaitlyn.
Poppy as he was better known by his darling little granddaughter Lylah will forever remember him for the constant love and adoring cuddles.
Shane will be massively missed by his family, his mates and his mates families, his laughter, his positive attitude and his antics.
At this time, Shane’s family, would like to acknowledge and thank the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Woolloongabba for the care and attention that they so freely gave him to make his final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
Shanes, family and friends are warmly invited to attend his celebration of life ceremony that will be held in the Chapel of the Hemmant Crematorium. Hemmant and Tingalpa Road Hemmant on Thursday 12th January 2017 commencing at 11:00 Am.
