In loving memory of Walton Henry Maynard who sadly passed away on 6th October 2016
MAYNARD Walton Henry “Wally”
Late of Flaxman Street Banyo. Passed into eternal life on Thursday 6th October 2016 at the young age of just 90 years.
Wally will be sadly missed by his wife Delma, the love of his life and soulmate of 62 years as well as “Buster”, his faithful Jack Russell. Wally will also be missed by his loving children Kerry, Lyn, Wayne, Ronald and their partners, Carol and Karen.
Wally (Gaga) was also cherished by his Grandchildren, Shelly, Nikki, Jodie, Dean, Ashleigh, Dwayne and Natalie and their partners, Sonny, Adam, Jake and Trish as well as his Great Grandchildren, Lily, Luca, Emmett, Benjamin, Hayden and Chaise, each of whom will miss him for the special relationship that he shared with them. A special relationship that can only be shared between a grandparent and a grandchild.
We will miss you forever Gaga.
What a beautiful day
Not a cloud in sight
as the sun sets slowly in the west
it made the night bring out its best
God said another star in my heavens,
I think I will desire.
Bright enough for all humans to admire.
WALLY is the name that does inspire.
as a greater human you could achieve no higher
God was asked on what fuel would this star burn
God replied with only one word
LOVE was the answer God did reply
so find a star that you may not have seen
if it twinkles in the night
don’t be scared don’t get a fright
its dad raining his love down on
you with all his might

Dad (Wally) was an inspiration to us all.
He taught us the values of working hard to achieve our goals and most important, the importance of family and love.
At this time Wally’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff of the Greenslopes Private Hospital for the care and attention that they so freely gave to make his final days as comfortable as possible.
Wally’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend his graveside funeral service that will be held in the Nudgee Cemetery 493 St Vincents Road, Nudgee.
Walton’s service will be held on Tuesday 11th October 2016 and will commence at 11:00 Am.
