Warren John Kenneth Horsburgh

Late of North Lakes

Warren passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, 25th February 2026, surrounded by the deep love of hisfamily. He was just 59 years old — far too soon.

Affectionately known as “Woga,” Warren was the deeply loved husband and soulmate of Melinda, with whom he shared 27 wonderful years.

He was a proud and devoted father figure to Eli Drew and wife Nancy and a much-loved Poppy to his beautiful granddaughter Mila, who brought him endless joy.

Cherished little bro to Lyn, Barry and Jeff, Warren was loved beyond words by his family and all who knew him.

Warren had a big heart and time for everyone — always ready to lend a hand or be a listening ear when someone needed him. He found great joy in the simple things:

His beloved dogs Gizmo and Gus, who were truly his best mates; his love of cars (especially his beloved Holdens); watching the races; and cheering loudly for the Brisbane Lions and the Brisbane Broncos.

Though our hearts are broken, we will forever hold onto the laughter, kindness, and love Warren gave sofreely. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Forever in our hearts.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Horsburgh Family. Warren certainly was a Colleague that I respected and held in high regard. He was an approachable Man that was always willing to discuss Our Industry. Regards from Rhys

There are no words to describe my sorrow upon hearing this news. I can only imagine how much worse it is for you the family. Woga & I go back 40 years. When there was a time I needed to talk about something, he was always there. At the Caltex, at his shops at the BP & Banyo. I grieve now my friend. Love you big fella.

Gonna miss you mate. Met you 50 years ago. Friends from the start. And in the last few years we became each other's support club. Comparing notes on how to stir up the nurses. Our last conversation was about how wonderful our partners are. Mel was your world.

Dear Mel, my heart aches for you. We are both too young to be widows.I remember when you left Gulgong with Eliand stayed with George and me at Port Macquarie and Warren came to pick you up to see how things would work out between you lovebirds. You never returned to Gulgong to live and had a wonderful life together. I wish I could be there for you but know I am thinkinking of you at this sad time. Sending love.
