VELLACOTT Basil James. “Baza”
Originally from Boona and late of Bribie Island.
Basil passed away peacefully in the palliative care unit of the Redcliffe Hospital, Saturday 11th July 2020
At the time of his passing Basil was only 86 years of age.
Basil leaves behind the love of his life and soulmate Val and loving children Terry, Gregory, Wendy, Kerrie, Laleen, Michelle and their partners.
Basil, Grandad, Baza as he was better known, leaves behind his devoted grandchildren Dean, Lee, Zac, Rhys, Ashleigh, Carl, Tay, Jamie, Emily, Brooke, Alexandra and Claudia and great grandchildren, Hunter, Harley and Evie. Each of whom will have special memories of a loving grandfather that could fix anything for them as well as constantly teasing and tickles in their younger years.
At this time Basil’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff of the Redcliffe palliative care unit for the love, care and attention that they gave to Basil and his family that made his final days as peaceful and happy as possible.
Basil’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend his celebration of life service that will be held in the St Auguststine’s Anglican Church, 56 Racecourse Road, Hamilton Queensland 4007 on Wednesday the 22 July 2020 Baza’s service will commence at 12 noon.
