Douglas Robert Boyce “Doug”
Doug passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Monday 7th September 2026. At 80 years young he managed to fulfil a life of many experiences, filled with learnings, respect, devotion, laughter and unwavering love.
Doug leaves behind the love of his life and soulmate Margaret, loving son Gavin and his wife Sarah. Doug has also rejoined his daughter Belinda who passed before him.
A cherished “Pops” Doug leaves behind his much-loved grandchildren: Stuart, Matthew, Joshua, Daniel and Courtney. They will forever remember him for his playful teasing, warm hugs, and the gentle wisdom he shared so freely. To them, he was larger than life, a steady hand, a safe place, and a constant source of fun.
Though his passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, the love he gave so generously and the memories he created will live on in his family forever. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and always carried in the hearts of those who were blessed to call him theirs.
