Messages from Friends & Family

Tiff, Beastie so sorry for the loss of your dad, Gavin. Our memories of your father are happy fun filled ones. Whilst we didn't have a lot to do with Gav and Chris in our latter years we spent a good part of our later teenage years together. We all shifted to Motueka , South Island, NZ where we all spent our time residing in a 12ft caravan parked in a paddock on a pig farm, where Gavin and Dave were employed. Although we were packed in like sardines we were still able to accommodate overnight visitors on occasion. While Dave and Gav worked Leonie and Chris spent time at the local pubs getting free drinks. The highlight of the job was the bin pickup from restaurants where Gav and Dave competed for goodies LOL. (Tiff & Beastie will know what this means). We looked forward to paydays and weekends at the pubs. It was a carefree time with lots of laughs. Tiff and Beastie it has been a shit of a year and one no doubt you wish to forget with your mum and dad both passing. However we are sure that you will have many happy and positive memories of them that you can cherish forever. Thinking of you both at this sad time, Uncle Snow, Auntie Lou, Layton and Deanna.

Karen we spoke briefly on the phone one night and I just like to say that Lamby who I knew him as was the most beautiful man I had the pleasure to meet. We met the day he came in for the interview at Karremans and would always stop and ask how I was regardless of what he was going through he always thought of others. He holds a special place in my heart . All my love to you and the kids may he rest in peace. Fly high Lamby heaven is lucky to have you xxx Jill Munro.
