In loving memory of Ivy Foster who sadly passed away on 29th November 2018
Originally from Bundaberg and late of Oxley.
Ivy passed away in The Wesley Hospital Auchenflower on Thursday 29th November 2018. At the time of her passing Ivy was 86 years old just 19 days short of her 87th birthday.
Ivy has now re-joined her loving husband Bernard who passed before her.
Ivy leaves behind her adoring daughter Lisa and a son-in-law that she always kept in line.
Ivy, Nanna or Aunty Ivy, as she was better known, will also be sadly missed by her doting grandchildren Hayley, Bethany and Joshua, who will always remember their Nanna for the way she had of making each of them feel special and loved unconditionally.
At this time Ivy’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff of The Wesley Hospital, for the care and attention that they showered upon Ivy and her family that made her final days as peaceful and happy as possible.
One can only envisage Ivy putting her amazing public speaking skills to good use and instructing all those in heaves how to look after her Roses, how much spice to add to the recipe to make her favourite dish taste the best as well as the correct way to sew the dresses for her much loved granddaughters.
Ivy’s family and friends are warmly invited to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the East Chapel of the Mt Thompson Memorial Park Crematorium 329 Nursery Road Holland Park, on Tuesday 4th December 2018. Ivy’s service will commence at 11:30 Am
