Laurent started life in a Blacksmith shop, near the forge, in deep snow in Moncton New Brunswick Canada.  On the farm until he finished school, he then joined the Royal Canadian Air Force servicing Lancasters.  Best known as a teacher then manager and owner of various Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Australia.  He taught thousands of people to dance with many students and his staff still in contact after 20 years in retirement.  He was active in the Brisbane Central Lions club, the Alliance FranΓ§oise where he was president for more than 15 years and the Contact Club Brisbane.  A man of great charm, wit and depth.  We will miss you.
