Laurie passed away peacefully on Thursday, 2nd July 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family. She was just 88 years old, a life far too short, yet one filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering love.
Laurie has now rejoined the love of her life and soulmate Michael who passed before her.
She was a proud and caring mother to her adored children and their partners: Steven (dec) and Scott. Her family was her world, and nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by those she loved most.
A cherished GRANDMA, Laurie leaves behind her much-loved grandchildren: – Renee, Stacey, Andrew, Christine, Nicholas, Melissa, Meg
and great grandchildren Clare, Jake, Chase, Elenor, Ragnar, Amira
They will forever remember her for that special bond that can only exist between a grandmother and grandchild
Laurie also leaves behind her families loyal and much-loved fur babies: – Topsy, Suzie, Brindle
who brought her daily joy and companionship.
Though her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, the love she gave so generously and the memories she created will live on in his family forever. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and always carried in the hearts of those who were blessed to call her theirs.
Laurie’s family warmly invite all her relatives and friends to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the Chapel of the Pinnaroo Crematorium 285 Graham Road Bridgeman Downs Queensland 4035 (Within the grounds of the Pinnaroo Cemetery) on Friday 17th July 2026 commencing at 9:30 Am
