Late of Brendale, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family in the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Charles Hospital on Saturday 2nd of July 2022. At the time of his passing, Les was 91 years old.
Former Captain Leslie Lenton ED, Australian Army-Transport- 1953-1963, a keen artist and an amateur Military Historian, leaves behind his long-time loving partner Carole Cavanagh and his loving children Lynette, Christine, John and partners.
Les ( Dad, Grandad, Pa) as he was better known will be sadly missed by his adoring grandchildren ( Clare, Sarah, Stephen, Jacob, Rebecca, Matthew, Jess, Elizabeth and Levi) and the loved great grandchildren ( Lucy, Grace, Edward, Joshua, Elise and Zoe, Mia, Kaley and Samuel), each of them will remember his presence and joining in at their birthdays and life celebrations.
At this time Leslies family would like to thank the Doctors Nurses and Support Staff of the Prince Charles Hospital Palliative Care Unit and Geriatric Unit for their professional care and attention demonstrated to Leslie and his family. They made his last days as comfortable as possible.
Leslies family and friends are warmly invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service to be held in the Chapel of the Pinnaroo Cemetery, 285 Graham Road, Bridgemen Downs Queensland, 4035 on Thursday 14th July 2022 commencing at 12:00pm. Following the Chapel Service those in attendance are invited to follow the Hearse to the Graveside where Leslie will be laid to rest.
