To our beloved Jing-jing—your journey now takes you beyond this world. May the Creator open the gates of Heaven wide for you, and welcome you into eternal peace. We will miss you deeply—your smile, your voice, your presence. But your spirit will live on in our hearts, forever cherished, forever loved. Rest well, Jing-jing. Until we meet again.

My tribute to my dear friend Jing I'll always cherish the memory with you Jing. (maam as we fondly call each other) such as playing tennis together, dining out, going for a coffee catch up, dancing at parties, singing and our chats. I admire your simplicity, calmness, humility, modesty and for being such a down to earth person. You easily laugh with anything we talked about (you’re so light hearted). I still hear the sound of your giggles and the beautiful smile in your face. I am grateful for the time I had with you. Yes you told me I was like a detective when I sent the flowers to your bed at the hospital. I could tell you were saying to me, why just the flowers and not you visiting me. I am so sorry my friend, I wasn’t ready (I was very mentally and emotionally weak to show my support through my physical presence). You were always thankful to me, even just supporting you behind the scenes through my every Wed and Friday lighting of candles & attending masses to pray for your recovery. Then on 25 March, 13:13 hrs you sent me a message “Maam gud pm. Waking up 4am crying.. ' asking why me? What i have done wrong? Why takes too long to heal?... im so tired already' ... hubby told me 'we dont know the plan of God' we just keep have faith and trust in him ”. Then we had a chat over the phone (we both struggled to comprehend about this adversity). I questioned myself why there was no miracle of healing. Upon knowing you’ll be moved to palliative care, I still prayed for a miracle and I was very hopeful. Then when I was almost ready to visit you, then you’re gone. I am so sorry for not being brave to see you on your last few days here on earth. As we bid farewell to you and though you may no longer be with us in body, your spirit will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and hold tight to the bonds of family & friendships forever. Love you always, maam /sis Jovy

With heartfelt sympathy and prayers, we mourn the passing of Lornie Villaruel, a cherished soul who now rests in the eternal embrace of our Heavenly Father. Lornie was a beacon of faith, a true servant of God, whose life was a testament to His love and grace. As a dedicated mother, her love and devotion were boundless, nurturing her family with a spirit of compassion and unwavering support. Her example of faith and love will undoubtedly continue to inspire all who knew her. As a loving wife, she built a home filled with warmth, kindness, and steadfast partnership, reflecting God's own love for His church. During this time of profound grief, we pray that the Villaruel family may find solace in the comforting words of our Lord Jesus Christ: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" (John 14:1-2). May you feel the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We also find hope in the promise of Revelation 21:4: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." We offer our prayers for the repose of Lornie’s soul: Eternal rest grant unto Lornie, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of The Holy Spirit. Amen. May Lornie's legacy of faith, love, and service continue to shine brightly, and may you, her beloved family, find strength and consolation in the love of God and the support of your community. With deepest condolences and unwavering faith, Gem & Melanie Sison and sons Liam, Matthew, and Lucas
