In loving memory of Margaret Mary McConnell who sadly passed away on 19th October 2016
MC CONNELL Margaret Mary
Originally of Gympie, Yeronga and Cleveland.
Margaret, or Peg as she was better known, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 19th October 2016. Aged just 93 years.
Margaret has now re-joined her husband, the love of her life and soulmate, David, who passed some 21 years before her.
Margaret will also be sadly missed by her loving children Kevin and Pamela and their partners, Lesley and Bill.
Margaret, or Marnie as she was known to them, will also be deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren Rebecca, Jason, Elke and Marcus as well as great grandson Raistlin who will always remember their Marnie for the way that she made each of them feel loved and special.
At this time Margaret’s family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff of the Greenslopes Private Hospital for the love, care and attention that they showered on their mum to make her final days as peaceful as possible.
Margaret’s Family and friends are warmly invited to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the marque at the Nudgee Cemetery, 493 St Vincent’s Road, Banyo on Friday 4th November 2016. The ceremony will commence at 11:00 Am. After the initial service all those attending are invited to follow the hearse to Margaret’s Grave where the committal will take place. Friends and family are invited to gather at Kevin and Lesley’s home at Shorncliffe afterwards.
