Born in Esk, Qld, and late of Parkinson, Brisbane, in the Carrington Retirement Village, where she moved to after the loss of her husband Terry in 1994.
Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, in the Carrington Nursing Home Parkinson on Wednesday, 19th July 2023. At the time of her passing, Mary was only 94 years of age.
Mary leaves her loving daughters Karen and Linda and has rejoined her loving husband Terrence and son Trevor who passed before her.
Grandma, as she was better known, also leaves behind her nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, as well as five great, great-grandchildren at last count, the youngest being six weeks old.
At this time, Mary’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Support staff of the Carrington Nursing Home Parkinson for their care and attention that helped to make her final days as happy and peaceful as possible.
Mary’s Family and friends are warmly invited to attend her celebration of life service that will be held in the Chapel of the Mount Gravatt Crematorium, 582 Mains Road Macgregor, Queensland 4109. (Within the grounds of the Mount Gravatt Cemetery)
