Maria had absolute joy in going to the club (of course.. front row table) to enjoy watching other patron's dance throughout the evening. Commencement to end and she was up for the full 4 hours watching the dancing and enjoyed the various very talented artist that provided live music. It is a testament to Maria, her kindness and caring nature so deeply appreciated. I attended the club to support Maria as she loved for me to sit right there beside her. We had lots to catch up on. I shared with Maria that my Mum had passed. We all go back so many years from being at the same dance school many years ago. Maria promptly said i’ll be your Mum now. Mary’s was my 2nd Mum. I reflect on Maria’s beautiful caring, friendly, welcoming and loving nature and so enjoyed the time we had together. To my 2nd Mum, may you rest in peace. My love always, Shirley Salm

Dear Paul and Family, Please accept our sincere condolences. We know you will miss your Mum but know that she would have been so grateful and blessed to have had you here with her over the last few months. Mary (as I have always known her) was an amazing and vibrant woman. An amazing hairdresser and always looking stylish. I also remember her wonderful piano skills. I think it was a party at the hall at Bardon and Mary got on the old piano that mainly sat there idle as a place for Les to put his coffee cup. We all were amazed that the piano sounded so good but maybe it was Mary's talent and showmanship. Mary was also a beautiful dancer as was your Dad, David who I also remember from comps at Festival Hall in the 70's. My dad, Les, loved teaching them and there was always lots of banter and laughter when they were together. Mary shone bright and I am sure she will be one of the brightest stars in heaven. I am sure she will be dancing up a storm and forever watching over you. May she rest in peace. Much love to you from, Joyce, Karyn, Tom, Joel and Cody.
