Born on the island of Rodrigues to Edith and Romuld.
Maurice passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday 13th July 2026. At the time of his passing he was 79 years old. Too soon gone for those that loved him, but a blessed life filled with music, laughter, and unwavering love.
Maurice leaves behind the love of his life and soul mate Marie Renee and devoted children Adrian, Andrew, and Jill. His family was his world, and nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by those he loved most.
A cherished Grand-père to his much-loved grandchildren: Faith, Olivia, Madeline, Ty, Felix, and Marley. They will forever remember him for his playful nature, silly jokes, and secret chocolate supply. To them, he was larger than life, a safe place, and a constant source of fun.
Though his passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, the love and laughter he gave so generously and the memories he created will live on in his family forever. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and always carried in the hearts of those who were blessed to call him theirs.
Maurice’s family warmly invite all his relatives and friends to attend his celebration of life service that will be held in The Holy Spirit Catholic Church 102 Sparks Road Bray Park on Tuesday 21st July 2026 commencing at 10:30 Am.
At the end of the service and in accordance with his wishes Maurice will be privately cremated.
