Paula passed away peacefully on Monday, 8th June 2026, surrounded by the deep love of her family. She was just 74 years old, a life far too short, yet one filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering love.
Paula was the dearly loved and devoted wife of Natal, her soulmate in life and love who unfortunately passed before her.
She was a proud and caring mother to her children: Jason, Sandy, Adam, Shannon their partners, and Stepchildren Natalie, Matthew and their partners. Her family was her world, and nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by those she loved most.
Paula or as she was better known “Black Nan” leaves behind her much-loved grandchildren: Natelle, Tyga, Luke, Zachery, Casey, Kaleb, Hadley, Mason, Cassidy, Tahlia, Cohen, Tyler, Mayan and Sunny, and their partners. And her 15 great grandchildren. Who will always remember her for that special bond that can only exist between a Grandmother and Grand Child.
At this time Paula’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Support staff of “the Prince Charles Hospital” for their care and attention that they showed to make her final days as happy and peaceful as possible.
Though her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, the love she gave so generously and the memories she created will live on in her family forever. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and always carried in the hearts of those who were blessed to call her theirs.
Paula’s family warmly invite all her relatives and friends to attend her celebration of life service that will be held Chapel of the Pinnaroo Crematorium 285 Graham Road Bridgeman Downs Queensland 4035 (Within the grounds of the Pinnaroo Cemetery) on Friday 19th June 2026 commencing at 9:30 Am
