Ronaldo Saraza
Ronaldo passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, 10th September 2026, while on holiday in Florence, Italy with his wife Susanna and some friends. He was just 62 years old, a life far too short, yet one always filled with love and laughter whenever he is around.
Ronaldo was the dearly loved and devoted husband of Susanna, his soulmate in life and love.
He was a proud and caring father to his only son Dion (his greatest pride and joy). His family was his world including the whole Saraza clan in the Philippines, the surviving members he was close to being:
- older sister Alicia,
- younger sister Rosemarie and her husband Arthur,
- niece Eunice who was the closest to Ronaldo, Eunice’s son Claud, Eunice’s partner Xavier,
- nephew Manuel
and nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by those he loved most.
Though his passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him,
- the love and care he gave generously
- the children and young people who were naturally drawn to him
- he was close to his friends’ elders and visited them when he can
- he gave attention to the underprivileged or those from whom he can’t get back anything in return
Most of all:
- his trademark honesty, wit and candor that always made people laugh
- his genuine warmth and simplicity
and the memories he created will live on in his family and the many many great and real friendships he had formed throughout his lifetime. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and always carried in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
Ronaldo’s family warmly invite all his relatives and friends to attend his Requiem Mass service that will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church 50 Fairway Drive, Clear Island Waters on Tuesday 29th September 2026 commencing at 10:30 Am (8:30am Philippine time)
After the service, and in accordance with his wishes Ronaldo will be taken for a private cremation.
For those who are unable to attend. The service will be live streamed. The streaming will commence around 10 Minutes before the official start time.
Internment of his ashes will be on his 40th day of passing, Oct 19, 2026, Monday. Time still to be determined.
His final resting place will be at the Sacred Heart Church columbarium, 50 Fairway Drive, Clear Island Waters, Queensland.
