In loving memory of Stephen Bernard Maddock who sadly passed away on 5th February 2017
MADDOCK Stephen Bernard “Steve” “Mad Dad”
Originally from Ferntree Gully, Victoria. However, better known from the Redlands, Brisbane and recently from Townsville.
Steve passed away unexpectedly in the Townsville Hospital on Sunday 5th February 2017 at the young age of just 44 years.
Steve will be sadly missed by his mother Catherine and his brother Martin and his family. Steve also left behind partner Anita and children Stephen, Brendan, Joel, Meleighta, Nicholas, Thomas, Azekial, Ivy and their partners.
Steve or Pops as he was better known will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Hunter, Phoenix and Elleigha and little Coco soon to arrive.
‘When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn’t your father, or mother, or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.
He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest
For he’s with you, clear to the end
And you’ve passed your most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you’ve cheated the man in the glass.
Steve’s relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend his celebration of life service that will be held in the chapel of the Pinnaroo Crematorium 294 Graham Road, Bridgeman Downs. After the service those attending are invited to follow the hearse to Steve’s final resting place in the Pinnaroo cemetery.
Steve’s service will be held on Thursday, 16th February 2017 commencing at 10:00 Am
