I have followed the livestream of Venna's funeral from Dorset, England. Veena was a person who was truly measured and treasured reflected in the tributes she received. It was a privilege to be able to be able to witness how much Venna mattered to all of you. I knew something of her faith and now I know how much she was loved. Thankyou.

Sporting and upbeat, equal to any occasion, that's how I saw Veena. She was excellent company and took everything in her stride, as she took on her final illness. Playing many roles to the hilt (I know of steno, teacher, nurse, and, lately, sacristan of two churches), she gave her best to each by reinventing herself each time. I'm missing her wide smile and infectious laugh already. May the archangels go with her (she was born on their feast day) as she makes her final journey. God bless you, Veena. My sympathy to her mum, Sonia, her sisters and the rest of her family.

Veena may your soul rest in peace. You are in your Saviour's kingdom. Very sad that you are no more with us. I really miss you. As I was hearing the Mass, I was seeing you in front of me and reminiscing the good old childhood days when you and your siblings and mine would get together and have fun at your Grandfather's or my Grandmother's place . Going for picnics at Torda or boating close to your Grandpa 's place. God bless you , Sonia and her son, P Deju, Prema and her family, Shanti and her family, Vaishali and her family. Rest in peace Veena and please pray for all of us from above.
