On Thursday, 28th December, William Emmanuel Johannes (born in Somerset East, Cape Town, South Africa had a
& peaceful send off with loved ones by his side.
William spent his late retirement in the Redlands District of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
He will be dearly remembered by the love of his life & soulmate – Lizette & their three children – Reginald, Margaret, William
& Partners Annetta, Chris & Maria.
William or ‘Oupa’ as he is best known by All, will also be deeply missed by his adoring Grandchildren – Quinton, Nicolette, Celeste, Lizette, Geoff, Magdalene, Jacqueline, Kurt, Ricardo, Lance , Cindy, Ruth, Joseph & Daniel.
He was also Great Grandfather to Jordan, Lakaiya, Chaneeka, Treaumayne, Tyra, Nikita, Riley, Zach, Talita, Jake, Brodie, Lily, Kato, Cody, Portia, Tristan, Eden, Audrey, Evangeline, Tamana , Emanuel, Anton, Anita & Jamaior. They take with them fond memories of their Great Oupa, who will be remembered for his loving advice, constant teasing, tickles and having a way of making each child feel special.
William’s family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff at Sylvan Woods Retirement Home &
Redland Hospital for all their devoted care & kindness. It made Oupa’s transition to heaven a loving & peaceful one.
We warmly invite William’s Family & Friends to join us at St Mary MacKillop Catholic Church this Wednesday,
3rd January 2018 – 12 Hardy Road, Birkdale. The service will commence at 9:30am.
In accordance with his wishes, William will be taken for a private cremation at conclude of a church service
We thank Family & Friends for their kind words, love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
Etched in our hearts & memories, he will remain.
